Georgia Ann Rogers

Georgia Ann Rogers, age 62, longtime Coweta resident went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday morning, March 23, 2019 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, OK. Ann was born on Mary 11, 1956 in Claremore, OK and was the daughter of Dorothy Jean (Miller) Sawyer. She was a Coweta High School graduate. She worked as a Certified Medical Assistant at many area nursing homes and retired from Oklahoma Methodist Manor in 2016. Ann was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Coweta. She enjoyed knitting, making dreamcatchers, beadwork, painting and camping. Ann is survived by her mother, Dorothy Sawyer of Coweta, OK; three children, Cory Miller and wife, Tracy of Skiatook, OK, Jerri Rogers of Coweta, OK and John Rogers of Coweta, OK; two sisters, Kay Meadows and husband, David of Coweta, OK and Becky Walker of Coweta, OK; three grandchildren, Jordyn Miller, Aaden Miller and Gavin Rogers; one niece, Brandy Rojas; three nephews, JD Meadows, Brandon Walker and Casey Walker; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. Ann was preceded in death by her step-father, James Sawyer and one brother, BJ Sawyer. A memorial service celebrating Ann's life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Pastor Bert Robison officiating.
