Broken Arrow

Georgia Ann Buechline, known affectionately as Ann, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Morada Senior Living in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years. She was born on May 15, 1944, in Hannibal, Missouri to Georgia Clifton “G.C.” and Lenora May (Caldwell) Williams. Ann's journey through life was marked by love, devotion, and a spirit that uplifted everyone around her.

Ann's heart was always fullest when surrounded by her beloved family. She is survived by her husband of over six decades, Monty Lynn Buechline; her children, Tina JoAnn Weldy and husband David, and Billy Clifton Buechline and wife Sherry; her cherished grandchildren, Sara Bethany Parrott and husband Matthew, Jonathan Christian Weldy and wife Brittany, Tephanie Dawn Buechline, Billy Montana Buechline, and Denise Nicole Buechline; her adored great-grandchildren, Ian Arlo Parrott, Charlie Ann Leola Weldy, Logan Christian Weldy, Daxton Christian Weldy, River Dawn Osburn, and Koa James Osburn; her brothers, Jerry Lynn Williams and wife Clara, and Terry Joe Williams and wife Patty; her nieces and nephews, Tammy Lee Osborn and husband LeRoy, Kandi Ann Anderson and husband Donny, Amber Adele Meyers and husband Brad, Cindy Lou Lacey and husband Larry, Rebekah Lynn Stults and husband Bob, Daniel Jason Williams, Mandi Jo Haile and husband Brian, and Matthew Eli Williams and wife Jenny; and numerous great nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Georgia Clifton "G.C." and Lenora May Williams; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William "Bill" Joe and Sybil Buechline; her brothers, Bobby Williams and Sam Williams; her sisters-in-law, Janet Elaine Williams, Brenda Williams, and Betty Bell Williams; her infant sons, Timmy Jim Buechline and Matthew Buechline; her niece, Samantha Williams; her great-granddaughter, Lily Rainn Osburn; her aunt, Leora Lee Wallace; her uncle, Leland Wallace; and her cousin, Dewayne Wallace.

A graduate of Joplin High School in Joplin, Missouri, Ann's life was a testament to her dedication to her family. As a devoted homemaker, she took great pride in creating a warm and loving home. Her work outside the home was always undertaken with the goal of providing for family vacations and creating lasting memories.

Ann's life was rich with interests and passions. She married the love of her life, Monty Lynn Buechline, on August 17, 1962, in Lakeside, Missouri. Ann and Monty built a life filled with joy, including a large shop in their backyard where Ann had her own corner to sew, listen to music, or watch Monty restore old vehicles.

Her faith was important to her, and she expressed it through teaching Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. Ann's love for 50's music, canning, cooking, traveling, camping, playing cards, and sewing, reflected her zest for life. She cherished family gatherings, especially the Williams Christmases, and relished spontaneous car rides with no particular destination in mind. Her love for nature, particularly trees, was profound, and her spirit of adventure led her to enjoy weekend drives to Missouri or flying to Disneyland just for the day.

Ann's positive outlook and ability to see the best in every situation and person were her gifts to the world. Her spontaneous nature and love for people were as boundless as her love for her family.
