George Ray Foster

George Ray Foster, age 58, also known as "Chicken George" departed this life on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK surrounded by his family. George was born on March 20, 1961 in Wagoner, OK and was the son of Bert Ray and Estelle (Cooper) Foster. He was a graduate of Coweta High School. His passion was raising game fowl on his farm. George also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was loved by everyone and was an incredible father, son, brother and friend. He became friends with everyone he met. His positive attitude for life and outgoing personality made him loved by everyone who knew him. George is survived by his son, Cody Foster of Broken Arrow, OK; his mother, Estelle Foster of Broken Arrow, OK; his brother, Michael Foster and wife Pamela of Broken Arrow, OK; his partner in life, Stephanie Nichols of Broken Arrow, OK; three nephews, Shon Foster and wife Melissa of Broken Arrow, OK, Adam Foster and wife Stephanie of Bixby, OK and Kevin Foster and wife Nicole of Broken Arrow, OK; and many cousins, other relatives and friends. George was preceded in death by his father, Bert Ray Foster. Viewing will be from 12:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Services celebrating George's life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Rev. Ed Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Herb Sarty, James Carter, Eric Harris, Kevin Baker, Juan Carlos Ramos Assad, Gerrardo Reyes, Rene Perez and Victor De Los Reyes. Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Johnson, Bill Coday, Danny Hamilton, Mitchell Winters, Bryan "Hoe" Ellis, Roger Denton, Harry Wells and Roy Hill.
