George A. Brown of Broken Arrow passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Saint Francis Hospital South in Tulsa. He was 94 years old. George was born on March 13, 1913 in Yellow Jacket, Colorado to Walter and Josephine Ellen (Pierson) Brown. He received his education and graduated from high school in southern California. George and Ruby Ryan were united in marriage on March 15, 1933 in Compton, California. George worked at AmZoil Oil Company as a distributer for 32 years until his retirement in 2006. He also worked for the United States Government Air Force as an Information Tech for 20 years. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Broken Arrow. He was also a member of the Trinity Broadcast Network. Survivors include two daughters, Rosalie Gladwin and Don Ross of Las Vegas, Nevada and Kathleen Carr Eberspacher and her husband, Charles, of Oak Grove, Missouri; six grandchildren, Larry J. Gladwin, Steven Gladwin, Darrin Gladwin, Kelly Petersen, Shelly Johnson, and Shannyn Jewel; 19 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruby, two brothers, two grandsons, and two sons-in-law. Memorial services were at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Silver Arrow Estates with Rev. Barry Simon officiating. Committal prayers and interment will be in Salt Lake City, Utah.
