Gary Edwards

Gary Don Edwards, age 53, of Coweta passed away Thursday morning, October 25, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. Gary was born on September 27, 1959 in Broken Arrow, OK and was the son of Hanson Henry and Velta Cleola (Nelson) Edwards. Gary worked at Fabwell Corporation and Steeltek, Inc. as a welder. Gary enjoyed fishing and hunting. Gary will be missed as a son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. Gary is survived by his mother, Velta Edwards of Tulsa, OK; his children, Misty Dawn Hathaway of Granbury, TX, Brandon Edwards of Bakersfield, CA and Donelle Edwards of Bakersfield, CA; four brothers, Ray Edwards of Bakersfield, CA, Frank Edwards of Porter, OK, Virgil Edwards of Davis, OK and Roger Edwards of Mounds, OK; two sisters, Reva Meadows of Coweta, OK and Judy Burris of Coweta, OK; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Gary was preceded in death by his father, two sisters and one brother. A memorial service for Gary is scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK.
