Gary Buck

Gary A. Buck, age 60, of Coweta, Oklahoma departed this life on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at his home. He was born on February 5, 1950 in Johnson City, New York to Robert and Virginia (White) Buck. Gary was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather to his family. He received his education in Glendale, Arizona and graduated from high school in 1968. He then attended college in Arizona and received his Bachelor's Degree in computers. Gary and Jackie Fields were united in marriage on July 12, 1996 in Miami, Oklahoma. He was self-employed with GAB Construction from 1993 to the present time. He also worked as a computer engineer for Honeywell, Inc. for 25 years until his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed going on cruises and being with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Gary is lovingly survived by his wife, Jackie of the home; two sons, Josh Buck of the home and Lee Baucom of Okay, Oklahoma; two daughters, Cheryl Meil of Phoenix, Arizona and April Jackson of Brandon, Florida; his mother, Virginia Buck of Coweta, Oklahoma; three brothers, Robert Buck of Coweta, Oklahoma, David Buck of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Randy Buck of Birmingham, Alabama; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his father. A funeral service for Gary will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2010 at First Assembly of God in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Gary Rogers officiating.
