Freda Isabel Whittle

Freda Isabel Whittle of Tulsa, OK, age 80, a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 31, 2013 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. She was born on January 28, 1933 in Oden, AR and was the daughter of George and Florene (Shirley) Wimberly. Freda was a 1951 graduate of Webster High School. She worked at Wal-Mart for 20 years until she retired in 2009. She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Freda is survived by her two sons, Steve Whittle & wife, Loretta, of Tulsa, OK and Randy Whittle & wife, Erin, of Catoosa, OK; one sister, Eva Jean Wright & husband, Bob, of Albuquerque, NM; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Freda was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services for Freda are scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel in Tulsa, OK with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating.
