Francis Warren Brians

Francis Warren Brians, age 69, of Edmond, OK passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 6, 2014 in Edmond, OK. He was born on September 3, 1944 in Coweta, OK and was the son of Earl Lee and Eva Lucile (Todd) Brians. Warren was a 1962 graduate of Coweta High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Warren and Wava (Davis) Brians were married on February 14, 1986 in Tulsa, OK. He worked at Braden Winch in Broken Arrow, OK as a Machinist for 41 years until he retired in 2004. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his grandchildren. Warren is survived by his wife, Wava Brians of the home in Edmond, OK; 3 children, Keith Brians of Coweta, OK, Kayce Brians of Coweta, OK and Jennifer Shunatona of Claremore, OK; 2 sisters, Geraldine Greene of Coweta, OK and Joy Morgan & husband, Darrell, of Wagoner, OK; 4 grandchildren, Zane Shunatona, Andy Shunatona, Katelyn Brians and Aubree Cherry; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kenneth Brians and twin daughters, Keri Lynn and Kimberly Dawn. Viewing will be 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 10, 2014 at the funeral home with the family greeting friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy, 123 W. Sycamore St., Coweta, OK. Pastor D. Frank Hughes will officiate the service. Burial with full military honors will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Mark Morgan, Scott Brians, Kenmore Brians, Zane Shunatona, Andy Shunatona and Gerald Williams.
