Frances Delene Adney

Frances Delene Adney, age 63, Coweta, OK resident was born on March 5, 1955 to Francis Joe and Virginia Oran (Cantrell) Cunningham in Idabel, OK. Delene passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in Rufe, OK surrounded by her family. Delene was a graduate of Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, OK. She worked at Wonderbread as a bookkeeper for 30 years until she retired. Delene and Harold Lee Adney were married on June 10, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV. She enjoyed taking care of her animals, going to the casino and cooking. She loved planning family get togethers and enjoyed spending time with her family. Delene is survived by her mother, Virginia Cunningham of Rufe, OK; 1 son, Dwayne Bilby and wife, Lara of Valliant, OK; 1 daughter, Karon New and husband, Mark of Tulsa, OK; 1 brother, Mike Cunningham and wife, Debbie of Tulsa, OK; 1 sister, Connie Rock and companion, David Nelson of Rufe, OK; 1 sister-in-law and best friend, Kim Adney of Coweta, OK; 6 grandchildren, Cheyenne Bilby, Caylin Bilby, Rena Ann, Shelby New, Timber New and Dylan New; 2 great grandchildren, Jayce Bilby and Aiden Hilton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Delene was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Adney, her father, Francis Joe Cunningham and 1 grandson, Cameron Michael Bilby. Viewing will be from 6-8 PM on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Valliant, OK. A graveside service celebrating Delene's life will be at 10 AM on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Rufe Cemetery in Rufe, OK. Pallbearers are Joseph Rock, Stephen Rock, Tom Dooly, Darrell Adney, Jayce Bailey and Jeremie Cunningham. Honorary Pallbearers are Jayce Bilby and Michael Cunningham.
