August 12, 2011 Fearn Belle Payne, age 83 years, 7 months and 29 days, entered eternal life April 23, 2009 in Parsons, KS. She was born August 25, 1925 in Bristow, OK to Cordy A. and Lillie A. (Stevens) Parish. Fearn married Jack W. Payne August 23, 1945. She worked many years in the Sears Credit Dept. and enjoyed crocheting, reading, senior citizens' activities including Meals-On-Wheels, and even shooting skeet and riding in a Jeep. In 2002 she moved from her longtime home in Rolling Hills near Catoosa, OK to reside in Dennis, KS with her daughter Norma Cagle. She had been living at Good Samaritan Society in Parsons, KS for the past 10 months. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers: William Z. and John W. Parish; and sister Corda Lee Cearley. Survivors include her daughters: Norma F. Cagle of Dennis, KS, Jacklyn A. Smith and her husband Ronnie of Tucson, AZ; son Alvin W. Payne of Catoosa; grandchildren:
Ricky, Danny and Casey Cagle, Julie Dainty, Cindy Fager, Carie Cagle Buck, Rhonda and Steven Smith, A.J. Payne; 13 great-grandchildren.
