Services celebrating the life of Fannie O. Allison will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK. Burial will follow in Three Rivers Cemetery in Okay, OK. Viewing will be from 12:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Brown Family Funeral Home with the family present to receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Fannie O. Allison, age 92, longtime Coweta resident went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday evening, November 17, 2018 at her home in Coweta, OK surrounded by her family. Fannie was born on February 9, 1926 to Cecil and Lydia (Walker) Pell in Okay, OK. Fannie started picking cotton at an early age. She worked at Griffin's Canning Factory where she met the love of her life, Custer Danny Allison and they were married on November 9, 1943 in Wagoner, OK. She also worked at St. John's Hospital and Doctors Hospital as an OB Technician. After retiring, she was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. Fannie did volunteer work at Project Get Together in Tulsa and the David Boren Campaign. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening and canning. She loved her kids and enjoyed being around people. Fannie is survived by 5 children, Joy Carver and husband, Johnny of Coweta, OK, Margie Christmas of Coweta, OK, Roger Allison of Coweta, OK, Judy Allison of Coweta, OK and Gary Allison and wife, Debbie of Harrison, AR; 1 daughter-in-law, Shirley Allison of Coweta, OK; 15 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Fannie was preceded in death by her husband, Custer Danny Allison, her parents, Cecil and Lydia Pell, 3 sons, Danny Allison, Darrell Glen Allison and Tony Allison, 4 sisters and 2 grandsons. Pallbearers are Jimmy Allison, Shawn Hinrichsen, Travis Honeycutt, Shawn Wright, Stanley Burkett and Jerrid Burkett. Family and friends may share memories online at www.brownfamilycares.com.
