Evelyn Sue Morgan

Evelyn Sue Morgan, age 83, lifelong Coweta resident went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Coweta Manor Nursing Home in Coweta, OK. Sue was born on September 18, 1935 in Coweta, OK and was the daughter of Virgil and Thelma (Brock) Morgan. She worked at Green Parrot Cafe, City Drug, Plunkett Drug, and retired as a caregiver. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coweta. Sue enjoyed going shopping. She loved visiting with people and enjoyed spending time with her family. Sue was a very special aunt and spoiled her nieces. Sue is survived by her sister, Wanda Manasco of Coweta, OK; a special niece, Robin Kellar of Coweta, OK; two sisters-in-law, Maudie Morgan of Coweta, OK and Shirley Marsden of Coweta, OK; one brother-in-law, Ralph Thompson of Fort Gibson, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Thelma Morgan; three brothers, Carmel Morgan, Arvil Morgan, and Clifford Morgan; and four sisters, Helen Thompson, Wilma Drain, Alpha Cooper, and Doris Morgan. Viewing will be from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home. Graveside services celebrating Sue's life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
