Eunice Lucille Snelson

Eunice Lucille (Hunter) Snelson, age 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday morning, April 28, 2018 at Aberdeen Heights Memory Care in Tulsa, OK. Eunice was born on August 5, 1927 to Jim and Rosa (Adams) Hunter in Sapulpa, OK. She married John Richard Snelson, Jr. on September 16, 1944. They were married 70 years and 11 months and had 3 daughters, Shirley, Beverley and Treva. She was a longtime member of the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy. Eunice was a devoted homemaker for most of her life. She loved fishing with her husband, gardening and "teasing"/making people laugh. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 6 siblings and 1 grandson. Eunice is survived by 3 daughters, Treva Snelson of Catoosa, OK, Beverley Hausam and husband, Ray of Coweta, OK and Shirley Knowles of Tulsa, OK; 1 grandson, Devin Hausam and wife, Netta of Coweta, OK; 1 great granddaughter; 3 great grandsons; and other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating Eunice's life will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta, OK with Pastor Larry Duncan officiating.
