Estelene Sisney

Estelene Sisney, age 83, of Coweta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning, June 28, 2017 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK. Estelene was born on April 11, 1934 to Roy Herbert and Rosie Lorene (Ketchum) Gilbert in Dawson, OK. She and Hershel S. Sisney were married on March 5, 1949 in Coweta, OK. Estelene worked at Zebco as an assembler and was a devoted homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed flowers, yard work, and mowing. Estelene was preceded in death by her husband in 2015, Hershel S. Sisney, her parents, 1 son, Larry Dean Sisney, 3 brothers, Leroy Gilbert, Kelly Gilbert, and Roger Gilbert, 2 sisters, Vaughna Lynn Sisney and Norma Mashburn. Estelene is survived by 1 daughter, Brenda Kay Riley and husband Tommy of Coweta, OK; 1 son, Hershel Ray Anthony "Tony" Sisney of Coweta, OK; 2 sisters, Marion Mashburn of Porter, OK and Verna Chadwell of Haskell, OK; 1 brother, Willie Gilbert and wife Mildred of Haskell, OK; 1 sister-in-law, Kathy Gilbert of Stillwater, OK; 5 grandchildren, Michael Sisney, Robert Sisney and wife Danielle, LaJuanna Rayl and husband Ron, Tommy Riley II and wife Candy, and Colby; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will be present for a viewing from 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating Estelene's life will be at 10 AM on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Rev. Willie Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Curtis Gilbert, Lloyd Chadwell, Jr., Cody Bougher, Lynn Kilgore, Brad Hartsfield, and Mark Davidson.
