Emma Louise Harrison

Emma Louise "Dolly" Harrison, age 92, of Tulsa passed away, Monday morning, November 25, 2013 at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK. She was born on October 20, 1921 in Henryetta, OK and was the daughter of Harry Buckles and Surelda Nave (Merrick) Rice. Emma and Hubert Jordan Harrison were married on January 21, 1947 in Tulsa, OK. She worked as an X-Ray Technician at Tulsa County Social Services until she retired. Emma was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Tulsa. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Emma is survived by her 4 children, Merrick Harrison & wife, Helen, of Cibolo, TX, John "J.R." Harrison & wife, Jane Warren, of Tulsa, OK, Hayden Harrison & wife, Rhonda, of Tulsa, OK and Jimmy Harrison & wife, Jan, of Broken Arrow, OK; her sister, Kay Freeman of Clyde, TX; 6 grandchildren, Erin, Sean, Heather, Amanda, Sarah and Brianna; 3 great grandchildren, Sadie, June and Fiona; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hubert Harrison and 3 sisters. The family will greet friends Wednesday evening, November 27, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service, 5757 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Friday, November 29, 2013 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 2515 E. 1st Street, Tulsa, OK. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.
