Elsie Joyce Jones

Elsie Joyce Jones, age 83, resident of Coweta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday evening, December 3, 220 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Joyce was born on August 18, 1937 in Paris, Arkansas and was the daughter of Lawrence and Elsie (Mosley) Bideler.  She was a pastor and did social services work.  Joyce was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coweta.

Joyce is survived by one son, Kevin Jones of Coweta, Oklahoma; one daughter, Sandy Bales of Coweta, Oklahoma; one grandson, Seth Bales of Coweta, Oklahoma; three sisters, Carolyn Griffin, Donna Lee, and Betty Vawter, all of California; one brother, Dee Bideler of California; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, George Jones; her parents, Lawrence and Elsie Bideler; and one son, Steven Jones.

Joyce’s wishes were to be cremated and no services to be held.
