Ella Louise Curtis, age 71, of Coweta passed away Friday, November 25, 2011 at Coweta Manor Nursing Home in Coweta, OK. She was born on December 24, 1939 in Sweetwater, TX to her parents, Troy and Marie (Hall) Sims. Ella was a homemaker for most of her life. In 1985, she moved to the Coweta area from Tulsa. Ella was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed singing, reading the Bible and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Ella is survived by her son, Roy Curtis and wife, Deanna, of Broken Arrow; her daughter, Connie Anstine of Coweta; her brother, Harold Sims and wife, Janice of Florissant, MO; 4 grandchildren, Charles Reed, Kenneth Pack, Angela Pace and Kayla Curtis; 3 great grandchildren, Dayton Pack, Jeffery Pryor and Braiden Pack; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ella was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Brandon. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Gibson Cemetery in Stone Bluff, OK with Rev. Roger Miller officiating. Viewing and visitation will be on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
