Eleanor Jean Mcintosh

Eleanor Jean McIntosh, affectionately known as "Sissy," passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 70. She was born on March 24, 1954, in Phoenix, Arizona, she brought joy and warmth to everyone she met throughout her vibrant journey in life.

Sissy completed her schooling at Carl Hayden High School in Phoenix and dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a Certified Nurse Aide. Her passion for helping those in need was a testament to her kindhearted spirit. Outside of her work, Sissy treasured the simple pleasures of life; she cherished moments spent at the lake and being intimately surrounded by friends and family.

Leaving behind a legacy filled with love and cherished memories, Sissy is survived by her caring children Joe Leos of Oklahoma City, Shawny Leos of Locust Grove, and Levi Young of Inkster. Her life is celebrated by her adored grandchildren Amanda Waldroop, Aspen Leos, Adrianna Whitney, Kayla Young, and Kyler Young, as well as her eight great-grandchildren Brycen, Seveah, Bentley, Koda, Tayden, Tristian, Sebastian, and Logan, who filled her days with laughter and joy.

She also leaves behind her siblings Chet Hill, Dawn Cline, and Theresa "Vickie" Newbanks, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will hold her memory dear. Sissy was preceded in passing by her mother, Norma Jean Scism, and her siblings Shawndale Scism, Royal Reid, and Deborah Wilson, with whom she is now at peace.

Her absence will be deeply felt, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Memorial Service for Eleanor Jean McIntosh will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Brown Funeral Home Chapel, in Coweta, Oklahoma.
