August 13, 2011 Eddy Levi Tehi Secondine was born October 15, 1930 to Buck and Mamie Secondine. Tehi passed away at his home in Shawnee on June 13, 2011. Graveside service will be 11AM Wednesday, June 15 at Shawnee Cemetery in White Oak. Visitation will be June 14 from 6-8PM at Kennedy-Kennard Funeral & Cremation in Broken Arrow. Tehi was a pilot in and held many other titles while serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was also a member of the Thunderbirds. Tehi retired from Indian Health Services in 1992 as a Drug & Alcohol Abuse Coordinator. He held several degrees, such as a M.A. in Junior College Teaching, B.A. in Psychology and an Associates Degree in Business. Tehi was a member of the Native American Church. He enjoyed dancing at Pow Wows, boxing, and most of all, being with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tehi was preceded by his parents: Buck and Mamie Secondine; sister Elaine Chibitty; and brother Dewayne Walker. He is survived by his wife Estelen Secondine of the home; son Curtis Chotkey and daughter-in-law Leslie of Shawnee; son Warren Hawk; and sister Mary Rose Mead, both of Tahlequah;
grandsons: William James and Jonathan Chad Chotkey, both of Shawnee;
granddaughters: Brandi Lea Chotkey of Shawnee and Megan Whitson of Oklahoma City;
great-grandsons: E.J., Ethan and Sean Chotkey; great-granddaughters: Nevaeh Lihnn Chotkey and Alicia Chotkey, all of Shawnee; and a host of family and friends. Kennedy-
