April 23, 2012 Eddie Lee Rowe was born on March 4, 1938 to Cora Wright- Abraham and William Abraham. He was adopted by Johnnie Rowe during his childhood. Eddie graduated from Booker T Washington high school in Sand Springs. He joined the United States Air Force in 1955 and stayed there until 1958. He later graduated from Commercial Truck Driving School where he traveled the whole USA in an 18-wheeler. Eddie developed his own self-
made business in transportation with the name BET (Black Entertainment Transit) in which he transported bingo players to various bingo halls throughout the state. Eddie united with Bessie Stripling until 1989. He then united with Doris Williams in 1990 and from that union two daughters were born, Kateya and Elayna Rowe. Eddie had a son from a previous union named Curtis McNack. Eddie accomplished many of his goals in life and will never be forgotten. Eddie was not only a loving husband and father, he was a devoted friend and mentor as well. Eddie leaves to mourn his wife, Doris Williams, sons Earl Stripling, Curtis McNack, Demarco Hawkins, Stanton Williams, Quinton Williams; daughters Felicia Stripling, Kateya Rowe and Elayna Rowe. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren with one on the way. Eddie also leaves to mourn his only surviving brother Bobbyie Johnson and sister in law Queen Johnson.
