Earl Dean Long

Earl Dean Long, age 66, resident of Coweta passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK. Earl was born on November 23, 1951 James and Mildred (Foster) Long in Wagoner, OK. He retired from Synergy Propane in 2016 where he drove a propane truck. Earl enjoyed fishing, going to rodeos, planting flowers, raising cows and bull riding when he was younger. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Earl was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, James and Lucille Long, his mother, Mildred (Foster) Long and his wife, Nancy Long. Earl is survived by his wife, Shirley Long of the home in Coweta, OK; 4 daughters, Rhonda Marsh and husband, David of Newalla, OK, Tonia Driver and husband, Billy of Coweta, OK, Julie Dodson and husband, Bryan of Coweta, OK and Sharon Sowers of Muskogee, OK; 1 son, Ronald Hensen of Tulsa, OK; 1 brother, Dennis Long and wife, Pam; 1 son-in-law, Donnie Yocham and wife, Misty; 18 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8 PM. Services celebrating Earl's life will be at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Haskell First Assembly of God in Haskell, OK with Pastor Donald Hogue, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Bobby Driver, Donnie Yocham, Billy Driver, Sr., Billy Driver, Jr., A.J. Yocham and Ronald Hensen.
