Earl "Glenn" Harrell

Earl Glenn Harrell, age 80, long-time resident of Coweta, OK passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, May 17, 2018 at Post Acute Specialty Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Glenn was born on November 28, 1937 to Samuel T. and Dortha (Patterson) Harrell in Stigler, OK. He was a graduate of Stigler High School. Glenn married the love of his life, Opal Juanita Swarer on December 20, 1958. He worked at Hale Hassell Company for 20 years and retired in 1991 from Safeway after 20 years. He enjoyed working, fishing and doing tractor work. Glenn is survived by 3 sons, Kevin Harrell and wife, Patricia of Coweta, OK, Wesley Harrell and wife, Tammy of Broken Arrow, OK and Harold Harrell and wife, Lisa of Coweta, OK; 1 sister, Marie Taber of Tulsa, OK; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces nephews, other relatives and friends. Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Harrell in 2013, his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home with family present to greet friends from 5-7 PM. Services for Glenn will be held at a later date.
