Dwight L. Fields

Dwight L. Fields was born December 6, 1955 in Shawnee, Oklahoma the second son of Benjamin F., Jr. and Elsie R. Fields. Dwight started his formal education at Ellsworth A.F.B. Elementary Schools in South, Dakota. He graduated from Washingtonville High School in New York where he played varsity basketball. Following his graduation, he attended New Paltz University in New York. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. He retired from IBM after 30 years of service. Dwight was a member of Baptist Temple Church in Newburgh, New York. He served faithfully as a Sunday school teacher and trustee. Dwight passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 21, 2014. He is preceded in death by his Dad. Dwight leaves his mother, Elsie Robbins Fields, two brothers, Benjamin Fields, III, Darrell Fields and very many cousins to cherish his precious memories. A Homegoing Celebration is scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the First Baptist Church North Tulsa, 1414 N. Greenwood Ave., Tulsa, OK.
