Dudley Moss

Dudley A. Moss, age 87, of Coweta passed away Monday morning, August 19, 2013 at his daughter's home in Coweta, OK. Dudley was born on February 10, 1926 in Ray, OK and was the son of Elmer Lee and Florence (Rutherford) Moss. Dudley and Velma Meadows were united in marriage on June 16, 1951 in Coweta, OK and she preceded him in death on November 13, 2004. Dudley worked in Construction at Manhattan Construction Company for 47 years until he retired in the early 1990's. Dudley was a member of Clarksville Free Will Baptist Church in Porter. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing dominoes and spending time with his grandchildren. Dudley is survived by 6 children, Lynn Moss and wife, Wanda, of Coweta, OK, Charles Moss and wife, Carol, of Kellyville, OK, Janelle McClendon and husband, Larry, of Rose, OK, Renae Gilbreth and husband, J.D., of Coweta, OK, Wade Moss and wife, Becky, of Coweta, OK and David Moss and wife, Beverly, of Coweta, OK; 2 brothers, B.J. Moss of Coweta, OK and Elmer Moss, Jr. of Coweta, OK; 2 sisters, Jualice Chalakee of Coweta, OK and Leona Foster of Coweta, OK; 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, a special daughter, Ann Moss, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Dudley are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Clarksville Free Will Baptist Church, 41673 E. 233rd St. S., Porter, OK 74454. Rev. Charles Smith and Rev. Lynn Moss will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are Jay Moss, Aaron Moss, James Gilbreth, Matt Moss, Adam Dickey and Rory McClendon. Honorary Pallbearers are Randall McClendon, Justin McMillen, Henry Guthrie, Lee Dale Moss, Devin Hausam and Clint Morgan. The family of Dudley A.
