Services celebrating the life of Dorothy Morgan will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Pastor Brett Wheeler of Crosspoint Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Viewing will be from 12:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, July 2, 2018. Dorothy H. Morgan, age 99, resident of Coweta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday afternoon, June 29, 2018 at Coweta Manor Nursing Home in Coweta, OK. Dorothy was born on December 7, 1918 to Earnest and Alta (Peters) Houser in Coweta, OK. She was a graduate of Broken Arrow High School. In 1945, Dorothy and Delbert Morgan were united in marriage. She worked at Commander Mills, Inc. in Sand Springs, OK for 20 years, Sears for 12 years and she was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coweta. She enjoyed raising cattle and chickens. Dorothy is survived by 1 son, Wendell Walker and wife, Mary of Coweta, OK; 8 grandchildren, Jeff Walker and wife, Debbie, Johnny Walker and wife, Debbie, Valerie Jackson, Cheryl Johnson, Nichole Hamilton and husband, Phillip, Wendy Yelton and husband, Mike, Bret Walker and wife, Shannon and Angela Vernon and husband, Stephen; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great granddaughters; 1 niece, Sandy Fry and husband, Darrell; and other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, Delbert Morgan, her parents, Earnest and Alta Houser, 1 son, Calvin Walker, 1 daughter, Alma Jackson and 2 brothers, Fred Houser and Marion Houser.
