Donna Martin

Donna Elaine Martin of Coweta, age 57, a loving mother, sister and grandmother, passed away on Thursday morning, September 15, 2011 at her home in Coweta, OK. She was born on August 18, 1954 in Coweta, OK and was the daughter of Donald Edward and Ellen LaVerne (Morrison) Denton. Donna was a 1972 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. She and Marvin Lee Martin were married on July 3, 1972 in Tulsa, OK. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Donna enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, collecting recipe books and most of all she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. Donna is survived by her husband, Marvin Martin of the home; her two sons, Andy Martin and his wife, Mandy, of Tulsa and J.D. Martin of Tulsa; her sister, Brenda Long and her husband, Steve, of Coweta; her brother, Wade Denton; two grandchildren, Nevaeh Martin and Vivianne Hewitt; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. A graveside service for Donna will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2011 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta with Rev. David Jones officiating. Pallbearers are Steven Long, Tyler Long, J. D. Martin, Andy Martin, Dwain Denton, Michael Denton and Jerry Wayne Denton.
