Diann Elaine Stacy, age 70, resident of Wagoner went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday evening, April 8, 2020 in Broken Arrow, OK. Diann was born April 12, 1949 in Stratford, CA and was the daughter of Billy and Nadine (Payne) Whitley. She was a graduate of Tahlequah High School and Northeastern State University where she graduated with her Bachelor's Degree. Diann worked for the City of Tahlequah as Personal Director and then retired from the Oklahoma State Department of Human Services Client Advocacy Department. Diann had an infectious laugh, pure heart and soul, and a smile that could brighten a room. She always treated people the way she wanted to be treated. Diann was strong, loving, kind, and a genuinely good-hearted woman. She was an amazing mom, merm, and a true friend. Diann enjoyed sewing, reading, going to the casino, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Diann is survived by her three daughters, Angela Collins of Tahlequah, OK, Jacque Curtsinger and husband Mark of Wagoner, OK, and Jessica Butcher of Broken Arrow, OK; her grandchildren, Chelsey Collins and Ryleah Collins of Tahlequah, OK, Garrett and Cookie Curtsinger of Wagoner, OK, and Kashton Butcher of Broken Arrow, OK; and many friends and loved ones. Diann was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Nadine Whitley. A memorial service celebrating Diann's life will be at a later date to be determined.
