Diana Sue Mcmanus

Services celebrating the life of Diana Sue McManus will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 at CrossPoint Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Pastor Jeromye Jackson and Pastor Brett Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Viewing will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Brown Family Funeral Home. Diana Sue McManus, age 68, resident of Coweta went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday morning, February 18, 2020 at her home in Coweta, OK. Diana was born June 5, 1951 in Coweta, OK and was the daughter of Lee Roy and Patty Ann (Goble) McClendon. She attended Coweta Public Schools where she played basketball and was a cheerleader. She married the love of her life, Donald Mathias McManus Sr. on May 28, 1970 in Fort Smith, AR at the First Assembly of God Church. Diana was a licensed beautician for many years. She also worked for the United States Postal Service for 21 years until she retired. Diana enjoyed crocheting and going to craft shows. She loved playing bingo and watching her grandchildren play sports or whatever activity they were involved in. Her family was her world and she loved spending time with her husband, children, family, and her grandchildren. She was the greatest nanny to her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly but not forgotten. Diana is survived by her husband, Donald McManus Sr. of the home in Coweta, OK; her children, Trisha Easley Glass of Coweta, OK, Don McManus of Coweta, OK, and Caroline Martin and husband Rusty of Coweta, OK; 10 grandchildren, Matt Glass and wife Lezlie, Kyle Glass, Bailey Martin and fiancé Braden Meadows, Seth McManus, Rusty Martin Jr., Jake McManus, Tyler McManus, and Kristabella Martin; 2 great grandchildren, Jake Mosley and Tavery Glass; and numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy and Patty Ann McClendon; her grandparents, Roy and Hazel McClendon; her grandson, Aaron Easley; her brother, Lawrence McClendon; her sister, Margie Cody; her father and mother-in-law, Claude Sr. and Caroline McManus; her sisters-in-law, Mary McClendon and Ruby Birchfield; her nephew, WD Cody; and her niece, Christi Moss. Pallbearers are Matt Glass, Kyle Glass, Seth McManus, Rusty Martin Jr., Jake McManus, Tyler McManus, Rusty Martin, and Braden Meadows.
