Deloris M. 'Dee' Joice

Deloris M. "Dee" Joice, age 80, longtime resident of Coweta passed away on Saturday morning, August 15, 2015 at her home in Coweta, OK. Dee was born on June 27, 1935 to Alvin and Ollie (McCann) Casey in Hominy, OK. She and Ernie Joice were married on December 23, 1961 in Coweta, OK. Dee was a homemaker who loved caring for her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, fishing and working in the yard. Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Ollie Casey and 2 sisters, Virginia Howey and Thelma Goebel. Dee is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ernie Joice of the home in Coweta, OK; 1 son, Jerry Lee Bennett and wife, Lindy, of Tulsa, OK; 1 step-son, Earnest Allen Joice of Liberty Mounds, OK; 1 sister, Linda Day and husband, Harold, of Coweta, OK; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the funeral home. Funeral services celebrating Dee's life will be at 2 PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta.
