Debra Barrett

Debra Barrett, age 55, of Coweta departed this life on late Thursday evening, August 14, 2008 at her residence in Coweta. Debra was born on July 9, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Bobby and Geraldine (Allensworth) Little. She received her education and graduated from high school in California. Debra and Daniel Barrett were united in marriage on May 18, 1972 in Long Beach, California. Then in 1991, she moved to Coweta, Oklahoma from Hawaii. Debra worked as the office manager at State Farm Insurance for seventeen years. She was a member of Church on the Move. Debra enjoyed bowling, reading, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Debra will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. Left behind to cherish her memories is her husband of 36 years, Daniel of the home; her two sons, Mark Barrett of Coweta, Oklahoma and Matthew Barrett of Middleburg, Florida; her two brothers, Donald Allensworth of Denver, Colorado and Jimmy Allensworth of Bremerton, Washington; her four sisters, Linda Poe of Coweta, Oklahoma, Cindy Riegler of Lakewood, California, Pam Stueve of Lakewood, California, and Robin Rutherford of Molina, Florida; three grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Becky Rupe, and one grandchild, Evan Barrett. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta with Rev. David Jones officiating.
