Deborah Jean Hert-Whittenberg-Lyon of Tulsa, OK departed this life on Monday, January 5, 2009 on a Caribbean Cruise in the Turks and Caicos Islands at the age of 50 years, 3 months & 21 days. She was born on September 15, 1958 in Pecos, Texas to Gene M. and Doris A. (Jarrell) Baker. Deborah was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother to her family. Deborah graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1977. After graduating, she attended Tulsa Community College for 4 years where she received her Bachelor's Degree. Deborah worked as an Information Technology Leader at Electronic Data System/Hewlett Packard for 10 years. She and Richard F. Lyon were united in marriage on October 5, 2002 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Deborah was a member of the Employer Volunteer Council. She enjoyed motorcycles and she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Deborah will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother. She is survived by her husband, Richard of the home; her son, Christopher D. Tiger of Coweta; her daughter, Tara J. Hert of Coweta; her brother, Jeffery D. Baker of Tulsa; her sister, Linda M. Baker of Odessa, Texas; and 3 grandchildren, Haileigh B. Hert, Izaya T. Conway, and Malaki L. Conway. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Coweta. The Reverend Sam Burnett will officiate the service.
