Dean Graham Pipke, age 15, passed away at his home in Coweta, Oklahoma, on Monday, December 2, 2024. He was born on December 15, 2008, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Joseph James and Gina Beth (Graham) Pipke. Dean's zest for life and his infectious smile touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Dean was a bright and curious young man, homeschooled throughout his life, and in the 10th grade. His love for learning was matched only by his passion for his faith. At the age of 15, Dean accepted Jesus into his heart as his Lord and Savior and loved attending Community Baptist Church. His faith was a cornerstone of his existence, guiding him to live a life filled with compassion, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to making others feel loved and valued.
He is survived by his loving parents, Joseph and Gina (Graham) Pipke of Coweta, Oklahoma; his sister, Paige Pipke, also of Coweta, Oklahoma; and a host of extended family members and friends who adored him. Dean's legacy is carried on by those he leaves behind, as they continue to be inspired by the joy and exuberance he brought into their lives. His ability to make others feel special and cared for was his greatest accomplishment, one that will continue to ripple through the lives of those he touched.
Dean was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerrold Dean Pipke, his maternal grandmother, Jean Graham, and his maternal grandfather, Ben O. Graham. Their memory and influence were evident in Dean's character, as he embodied the best qualities of those who came before him.
It was not so much in what he did, but how he made others feel. His greatest accomplishments are yet to be seen because his kindness, compassion, joy and exuberance will inspire all who knew him. He will inspire us to do for others what he has done for us, to care for and love each other.
Dean's journey on earth may have been brief, but the essence of who he was will continue to inspire and guide us. His memory will live on as a beacon of love, a reminder to cherish every moment, and an encouragement to extend kindness to all. Dean will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever be a part of the lives he touched.
A memorial service celebrating Dean’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Community Baptist Church in Coweta, Oklahoma. Pastor Adam Mask will officiate the service, honoring Dean's journey and the indelible mark he left on the world.
