David Wayne Ward

A memorial service celebrating the life of David Wayne Ward will be at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Rev. Mike Harper officiating. David Wayne Ward, age 57, resident of Coweta passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at St. John Hospital in Broken Arrow, OK. David was born on June 27, 1961 in Oklahoma City, OK to Albert Henry and Ruth Alvara (Smith) Ward. He attended elementary school in Keys, OK and graduated from Choctaw High School in Choctaw, OK. David worked in maintenance at Omniplex Science Museum in Oklahoma City, OK for 7 years. He enjoyed golfing with his cousin, Darrell, fishing and he was a die-hard OU fan. David was very family-oriented and loved spending time with his grandkids. David is survived by seven children, Keri Romans and husband, Lynn of Coweta, OK, Lori Ward of Coweta, OK, Brian Ferguson and wife, Candace of Del City, OK, Kayelynn Kimble and husband, Trey of Tahlequah, OK, Chris Brown and wife, Mendy of Coweta, OK, Stephanie Mullins of Italy and Andrea Ward and companion, Wyatt Murray of Haskell, OK; several grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one sister, Linda Wright and husband, Jim of Norman, OK; two step-children, Lindy Potts and husband, Dusty of Moore, OK and Denver Crabb of Oklahoma City, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Henry and Ruth Alvara Ward, one brother, Kenneth Ward; one son-in-law, Jason Bowen, one nephew, Jimmy Wright and aunts and uncles.
