David Alan Trussell

David Alan Trussell, age 60, resident of Red Bird, Oklahoma departed this life on Wednesday evening, August 10, 2022 at his home in Red Bird, Oklahoma surrounded by his family.  David was born on July 30, 1962 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Johnny Marland and Mary Ellen (McGrew) Trussell.  He was a graduate of East Central High School.  In 1981, he married the love of his life, Earlene McClary.  David was a CNC Machinist for Muncie Power Products, where he worked for 33 years.  David enjoyed hunting, fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

David is survived by his wife, Earlene Trussell; his children, Amanda Hildebrand of Red Bird, Oklahoma, Brandy Cavanaugh and husband David of Porter, Oklahoma, Nicole Trussell and fiancé William Craig of Red Bird, Oklahoma, and Adam Trussell and wife Amanda of Red Bird, Oklahoma; thirteen very special grandchildren; one great grandchild; his sister, Terri Sitler and husband Corby of Wagoner, Oklahoma; his brothers, Mike Trussell and wife Lana of Mannford, Oklahoma and Ronnie Trussell and wife Kathy of Chouteau, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Marland and Mary Ellen Trussell and his grandparents.

A memorial service celebrating David’s life will be at 4:00 PM on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
