David M. Kelley, age 67, of Coweta passed from this life on Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Tahlequah City Hospital in Tahlequah. He was born on February 28 1942 in Roswell, NM to Fred and Dorcas Pearl (Patrick) Kelley. David was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather to his family. He attended school in the Tahlequah school system and graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1961. David also attended Tulsa Jr. College for two years majoring in Business Administration. He worked as a plant manager for Ken Tube for 33+ years. David and Gracie Fern Mitchell were united in marriage on November 7, 1961 in Muskogee, OK. He was a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, raising horses, and he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. David was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, and two sisters. David is lovingly survived by his wife, Gracie, of the home; his three sons, Bobby Dale Kelley, Timmy Lynn Kelley, and David Brian Lee Kelley and his wife, Mary, all of Coweta, OK; his daughter, Tammy Jean Smith and her husband, Hollis, of Coweta, OK; his brother, Ray Howard Kelley of Locust Grove, OK; nine grandchildren, Ashley Cornelius, Nikki Kelley, Brittney Kelley, Megan Kelley, Bobby Dale Kelley, Jr., Amy Jessica Fern Boyles, Apryl Smith, Autumn Smith, and Kaleb Kai Lee Kelley; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Hughart of Lighthouse Tabernacle officiating.
