David Perry Adney, age 59, lifelong resident of Broken Arrow passed away on Sunday morning, September 13, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. David was born on September 14, 1955 to Perry Nelson and Mildred Pauline (Kinzey) Adney in Broken Arrow, OK. He was a 1974 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. He owned and operated David Adney Trucking for 12 years. David was united in marriage to Kimberly (Owens) Adney. He enjoyed going to the casino, fishing and spending time with his grandkids and family. David was preceded in death by his parents. David is lovingly survived by his wife, Kim Adney of the home in Broken Arrow, OK; 5 children, Julius Iwanski, Roman Iwanski, Alisha Painter, Victoria Annesley and Cecil Young; 4 brothers, Ron Adney and wife, Deborah, of Porter, OK, Harold Adney and wife, Delene, of Coweta, OK, Gerald Adney and wife, Karen, of Haskell, OK and Darrell Adney and wife, Angie, of Coweta, OK; 1 sister, Judy Rosser and husband, Gary, of Broken Arrow, OK; 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM-7 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the funeral home with the family present from 5-7 PM. Funeral services celebrating David's life will be at 2 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Oneta Holiness Church in Broken Arrow, OK with Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Justin Rosser, Grant Adney, Greg Strickland, Cecil Young, Julius Iwanski and Lee Owens.
