Darryl Morrow

Darryl Wade Morrow of Coweta, age 42, a loving father, son, brother and grandfather, passed away Monday morning, December 5, 2011 at his home in Coweta, OK. He was born on March 30, 1969 in Tulsa, OK to his parents, Norman and Vera (Gilbert) Morrow. Darryl was a 1987 graduate of Coweta High School. After graduating, he attended Tulsa Junior College for 2 years. Darryl worked as a lube technician at Jiffy Lube for 18 years. Darryl attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta. He enjoyed drawing, doing yard work and taking care of his vehicle. Darryl will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Darryl is lovingly survived by his parents, Norman and Vera Morrow of Coweta; his 2 daughters, Sarah Morrow of Broken Arrow and Tealey Morrow of Tulsa; his half-brother, Norman Morrow Jr. of Tulsa; 5 grandchildren; and several cousins, other relatives and friends. Darryl was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Beatrice Gilbert, his paternal grandparents, Lewis and Ottis Morrow and one grandchild. The family will be present at a visitation on Thursday evening, December 8, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services for Darryl will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta, OK with Pastor Larry Duncan and Pastor Robert Shaw officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are Jim Howard, Rodney Newman, Clint Keel, Ralph Keel, John Keel and Doug Banner.
