Danny Warren Mccarty

August 11, 2011 Danny Warren McCarty, age 69 years, 4 months and 2 days, entered eternal life January 11, 2009 at his home in Broken Arrow. He was born September 10, 1939 in Broken Arrow to Warren Milton and Mildred Z. (Horn) McCarty. Dan served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. He married Shelby (Reeder) June 1, 1962 in Oklahoma City. Dan was an Eagle Scout and was a member of the Sertoma Club, V.F.W., D.A.V. and Whispering Hills Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting deer, fishing and his charitable work. Dan was instrumental in developing Serteen and A New Leaf. In addition to his loving wife of the home, he is survived by his daughter Regina Dawn McCarty of Tulsa; granddaughters:
Jessica Lauren McCarty of the home, Haylee Nichole and Megan Marie Miles, both of Edinburgh, IN, Tae' Rae' Shumar and Brianna Dawn Bowers, both of Broken Arrow.
