February 26, 2013 Dale E. Wilkerson of Wewoka, 64, passed from this life to be with his Lord and savior February 19, 2013 in Holdenville with his loving wife by his side. He was born January 30, 1949 in Claremore to Ruth Ella (Merrell) and George Wilkerson. Dale married Carolyn (Drinnen) and together they created a beautiful family. Dale attended school in Catoosa and Claremore. He enjoyed many different occupations including truck driver, off shore oil field worker, heavy equipment operator, and highway contractor. He really enjoyed telling stories to his family, griping, eating, Western movies, TV, fishing, hunting and especially visiting with his family. He also enjoyed old Country artists like George Jones and Hank Williams, Sr. Dale and Carolyn loved going to yard sales in the summer. He loved his grandchildren even when Deagan wouldn't share TV time. Anyone who knew Dale knew that cat napping was a favorite past time. He enjoyed eating and cooking. Fried chicken was his favorite. Making big messes in the kitchen seemed to be something that made him happy. Dale really loved life; laughing was a necessity. He was preceded by his parents, sister Dean Harris, infant brother John L., sister Betty Barton, brother Luther Wilkerson, sister Lula "Cat" Dick, brother George Wilkerson , Jr., and son-in-law Tommy Moore He is survived by his wife Carolyn and son Joshua Wilkerson, both of the home;
daughter Jayme Orsburn and her husband Brad of Wewoka; daughters: Tammy Farmer and her husband Mark of Joplin, MO, Lorrie Moore and her husband John of Locust Grove; son Dale Wilkerson, Jr. and his wife LaTisha McCafay of Locust Grove; brother Bill Wilkerson and his wife Sharon of Joplin; sisters: Helen Thompson and her husband Charles of Broken Arrow, Eva Conley and her husband Bill of Catoosa; grandchildren:
Cody, Cayden and Gavyn Dale Marks of Lovington, NM, Deagan Wilkerson of Wewoka, Kyle and Zachary Hardcastle, Katie Morey and her husband Levi, all of Joplin; Vincent Moore of Tulsa; Lauren Dee Moore, Zoey Moore McComb, both of Owasso, Rena McCafay of Wagoner, Devon, Dustin, Justin, Jade and Jace, all of Locust Grove; great-
grandchildren: Aerial and Isabella Langston of Owasso, and Payton McCafay of Wagoner;
numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends, including the nurses from FMR Dialysis in Shawnee and DaVita Greenwood Dialysis in Tulsa.
