Dale Lee Foster

Dale Lee Foster, age 84, resident of Owasso went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at his home in Owasso, OK. Dale was born on July 6, 1934 in Morris, OK and was the son of Herchel Century and Beatrice Marie (Weatherford) Foster. He received his education at Coweta schools. Dale was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He enlisted in the Army on June 22, 1956 and was honorably discharged on April 11, 1958. Dale married the love of his life, Frances Dorthy Taber on July 15, 1956 in Tulsa, OK. He was a truck driver for Chief Freight Lines for many years. He also was a school bus driver and school bus mechanic at Inola Public Schools from 1980 to 1996. Dale was a member of the Church of Christ in Inola, where he served as an Elder. He enjoyed mechanic work and could always fix anything broken. Dale is survived by his wife of 62 years, Frances Foster of the home in Owasso, OK; three children, Kim Hall and husband Ray of Tulsa, OK, Wayne Foster and wife Vicky of Tulsa, OK, and Teresa Clifton and husband Jeff of Ketchum, OK; two sisters, Betty Parks and husband Norman of Coweta, OK and Marie "Reddy" Murphy of Plano, TX; five grandchildren, Hannah Walker, Caleb Adams, Noah Foster, Heather Casey, and Jeremy Clifton; five great grandchildren, Kylie Adams, Maddie Adams, Olive LeBovich, Abby Casey, and Tessa Casey; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Herchel Century and Beatrice Marie Foster; two brothers, Ken Foster and Horace "Speedy" Foster; and one sister, Kathy Gerber. Viewing for Dale will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home and graveside services with military honors will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2019 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK with Caleb Adams and Noah Foster officiating.
