Cynthia Mcelroy

Cynthia J. McElroy, age 54, of Ft. Gibson, OK passed from this life on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at her home. She was born on August 9, 1955 in Tulsa, OK to Earl F. and Jeralydne (Dority) Mays. Cynthia received her education in the Broken Arrow school system. She and Theodore F. McElroy were united in marriage on August 1, 1981 in Tulsa, OK. Cynthia was a homemaker for most of her life. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents. Cynthia is lovingly survived by her husband, Theodore of the home; three sons, Butchie McElroy of Ft. Gibson, OK, Tab McElroy of Tulsa, OK, and Tod McElroy of August, GA; three daughters, Amber Dawn Anderson of Claremore, OK, Wendy M. McElroy of Oklahoma City, OK, and Mindy McElroy of Wagoner, OK; one brother, Butch Mays of Coweta, OK; ten grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2009 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Pastor Matt VonWald officiating.
