Cynthia Graves

Cynthia S. Graves, age 53, of Porter, formerly of Coweta, departed this life on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Muskogee Regional Medical Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Cynthia was born on October 27, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Russell D. and Dolores (Knost) Barnett. She graduated from Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1972. In 1997, she decided to move from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Coweta, Oklahoma. Cynthia worked as an office manager at Heat Wave Supply for one month. She had previously worked as an office manager at Russell Mechanical for twelve years. Cynthia was a member of the National Association of Women in Construction. Her hobbies included gardening, riding motorcycles, and she enjoyed animals. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. Left behind to cherish her memories is her son, Jeff Graves of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her companion, Jim Sheram of the home; her brother, Jim Barnett of Tulsa, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2008 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allison Dickey officiating. Committal prayers and burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home in Coweta.
