Curtiss Christmas, age 75, life-long resident of Tulsa, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 at his home. Curtiss was born on September 21, 1938 in Tulsa, OK and was the son of Tommy and Verna (McBroom) Christmas. He and Margaret Allison were united in marriage on January 21, 1966 in Tulsa, OK. Curtiss worked as a self-employed Truck Driver. Curtiss was a member of Souls Harbor Church in Catoosa, OK. He enjoyed reading the Bible, watching TV and spending time with his family. Curtiss is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margie Christmas of the home; three children, Clayton Christmas of Tulsa, OK, Karen Christmas of Tulsa, OK and Marsh Christmas and wife, Julie, of Florida; one sister, Veronica Jenkins of Wagoner, OK; one brother, Ivan Christmas of Tulsa, OK; four grandchildren, Jessica Christmas, Trayse Christmas, Chase Christmas and Dalton Alexander; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Curtiss was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. Funeral services for Curtiss are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK with Rev. Brody Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery in Okay, OK. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Jarred Burkett, Stanley Burkett, Charlie Lord, Pastor Darrell Brewer, Mark Crutchfield and Bobby Joe Turney.
