Curtis Lowell Quigg, age 71, resident of Coweta passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK. He was born on February 4, 1946 to Harvey Napoleon Quigg and Marcella Marie (Douglas) Hickman in Brownfield, TX. Curtis was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving in Vietnam. He enlisted in the Navy on February 1, 1966 and was honorably discharged on September 5, 1973. Curtis worked as a Mechanical Engineer at City Service, Occidental Petroleum Company and retired from American Airlines in 2005. He enjoyed fishing at the lake and spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He loved his mustang, which he called his "garage queen". Curtis was a man full of life, love and wisdom. He will be missed by all. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Napoleon Quigg and Marcella Marie Hickman, 1 brother, Harvey Clyde Quigg, 1 sister, Bobbie Jean Quigg and 1 grandson, Brennan Lemoine. Curtis is survived by 2 children, Jeremy Lynn Quigg of Coweta, OK and Carrie Ann Quigg and companion, Josh Eckard of Coweta, OK; 8 grandchildren, Morgan Quigg, Andre Lemoine, Karah Quigg, Ashlynn Lemoine, Aaron Michael Curtis Quigg, Alonah Lemoine, Haley Quigg and Lilly Quigg; and numerous cousins, other family members and friends. Viewing will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018 and services celebrating the life of Curtis will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK. Burial with full military honors will follow in Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK. Family and friends may share memories online at www.brownfamilyfuneralhome.com.
