On December 30, 1965 in Tulsa, OK a son was born to his parents, Winston Sr. and Lois (Boyd) Barnes. He was the only child to this union. He was raised in Tulsa and attended school and graduated from McClain High School with the class of 1985. After high school, he worked 25 years as a maintenance technician. Cornell was a generous and kind person who loved and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was known as "Conrad". He enjoyed spending time with his children and newest grandson. He loved fishing, sports, and nice cars. Most of all he was a family man at heart, with an unforgettable smile. His smile would brighten up any day. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois A. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his father, Winston Barnes, Sr.; four daughters, Crystal and (Daniel Sr.), Kanesha, Armani and Diamond; one son, Cornell Jr.; two grandchildren, Daniel Jr. and Isaiah; six brothers, Winston Jr., Wayne, Claude, Joseph, Marlo and Keena; seven sisters, April, Krystal, Daunazia, Ashley, Denise, Keisha and Kendra; uncles, Luther, Herman, Vohn, Columbus, Vernon and Curtis Sr.; aunts, Charlene, Teresa, Mary, Christine, Gloria, Geneva, Lela and Willie; and a host of cousins and friends who will deeply miss him.
