Colin Neal Beene, age 58, resident of Tulsa, passed away at his home in Tulsa, OK, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. He was born on September 27, 1966, in Muskogee, OK to Harold Dean and Rosie Mary Faith (Lattie) Beene. Colin's life was a melody of joy, laughter, and unwavering love for his family and friends.

Colin's early years were spent in the close-knit community of Haskell, OK, where he attended school and graduated from Haskell High School. His passion for music was evident from a young age as he played the tuba and trombone in the school band. Colin's love for music continued to flourish as he pursued higher education, earning a bachelor's degree from Northeastern Oklahoma College.

After college, Colin embarked on a fulfilling career in Hotel Management with Marriott Hotels. His work took him to various cities, including San Francisco, CA, Lake Tahoe, NV, Orlando, FL, and Tulsa, OK. His dedication and warm personality made him a beloved figure in the hospitality industry.

Beyond his professional life, Colin was a talented pianist and singer/songwriter. He found solace and joy in playing the piano at various churches and was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Haskell, OK. His musical journey also included touring with various singing groups, where he shared his gift of music and his infectious sense of humor with many.

Colin's spirit was characterized by his humor and his heart of gold. He had an unparalleled ability to light up a room with his jokes and pranks, especially when it came to his beloved family. He cherished the time spent with his nieces and nephews, always eager to create memories that would last a lifetime. For Colin, family was everything, and his greatest wish was to see everyone together, sharing in the love and unity that he held so dear.

He is survived by his sister, Tracy Jackson and her husband Lucious, his brother, Chris Beene and his wife Melissa Cole, and several adoring nieces and nephews who will miss his playful spirit and loving guidance. Colin was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dean Beene, his mother, Rosie Beene, and his sister, Connie DeAnne Beene-Dollard.

As we say goodbye to Colin, we hold tight to the melodies of his life—songs of love, laughter, and the unbreakable bonds of family. His was a life well-lived, and his memory will be a treasure to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service to celebrate Colin's life will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK.
