Clyde Kenneth Epperson, age 73, resident of Broken Arrow passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK. He was born in Westcliffe, CO on January 31, 1944 to Delbert and Evelina (Baker) Epperson. Clyde was a graduate of Cripple Creek High School in Cripple Creek, CO. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Air Force on February 2, 1962 and was honorably discharged on February 1, 1966. In his spare time, he enjoyed wood working, photography, reading, working in the yard and restoring antiques. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Evelina Epperson and 1 brother, Clifford Epperson. Clyde is survived by his companion, Corrine Wilson of Broken Arrow, OK; 1 daughter, Shelie Boyd and husband, David of Terlton, OK; 1 sister, Carolyn Herner of Colorado Springs, CO; 3 grandchildren, James Boyd and wife, Tiffany, Jessica Boyd and Michael Boyd; 2 great grandchildren, Peyton Boyd and Paisley Boyd; 2 step-children, Jennifer Holmes and husband, Jimmy of Coweta, OK and Brett Wilson of Claremore, OK; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service celebrating Clyde's life will be at 1 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
