Claudette Hudelson

Claudette Hudelson of Broken Arrow, OK, age 79, a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and aunt, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at her home in Broken Arrow, OK. Claudette was born on August 15, 1933 in Ft. Smith, AR and was the daughter of Claude and Freda (Fritts) Robertson. Claudette received a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Oklahoma Christian College and a Master's Degree from Oklahoma University. Claudette and Cecil "Bud" Hudelson, Jr. were united in marriage on October 3, 1952 in Haskell, OK and he preceded her in death on October 16, 2003. Claudette was a published composer for The FJH Music Company Inc. She also loved teaching piano lessons in her home. Claudette was a member of the Church of Christ at Whispering Hills in Broken Arrow. She was also a member of the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association, the Broken Arrow Music Teachers Association and she also received Distinguished Music Teacher of the Year. Claudette enjoyed writing music, working in her flower beds and she loved decorating her house for the holidays. Claudette is lovingly survived by her son, Michael Ray Hudelson of Tulsa, OK; her daughters, Laura Collins and husband, Shaun, of Broken Arrow, OK and Andrea Hall and husband, Mike, of Oklahoma City, OK; her sister, Marcia Blalack of Cincinnati, OH; 7 grandchildren, Jeremy Kulka, Caleb Collins, Grant Hall, Aaron Collins, Timothy Collins, Blaire Hall and Hannah Collins; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Claudette was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil "Bud" Hudelson, Jr., her parents, Claude and Freda Robertson and one sister, Sue Vierra. Funeral services for Claudette are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Church of Christ at Whispering Hills in Broken Arrow, OK with Dan Langdon officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, OK. Pallbearers are Mike Hall, Shaun Collins, Caleb Collins, Grant Hall, Aaron Collins, Timothy Collins, Brad Richardson and Mike Snider.
