Claude Clayton Coselman

Claude Clayton Coselman, age 86, resident of Coweta went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday evening, December 27, 2017 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He was born on May 12, 1931 to Claude Homer and Louise Esther (Borgman) Coselman in Burns Township, MI. In 1948, Claude enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served 22 years in the Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant on July 31, 1970. During his years of service, he received numerous medals, badges and honors, most notably a Korean Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. Claude also worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a Mail Carrier. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Coweta and the American Legion Post 226 in Coweta. Claude was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Homer and Louise Esther Coselman, his first wife, Mamie Sue Coselman, his second wife, Eunice Coselman and his daughter, Donna Coselman. Claude is survived by 1 daughter, Carol McWhorter of Gaston, OR and numerous friends. A memorial service celebrating Claude's life will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Vurnell Morgan and Ben Swanson officiating. Inurnment will be in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK. Full military honors will be provided by the Tinker Air Force Base.
