Clarence Lee Baucom, Sr., age 62, of Coweta, Oklahoma departed this life on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on January 1, 1948 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Hoil and Mary (Arnold) Baucom. Clarence was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle to his family. He was born and raised in Coweta and graduated from Coweta High School in 1966. Clarence and Jackie Fields were married on August 11, 1966 in Coweta, Oklahoma. They later divorced. He owned and operated a Texaco Station in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He also owned several businesses in Coweta, Oklahoma. Clarence was a man of unwavering faith who always put his family and friends needs before his own. He will be deeply missed. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing chess, playing golf, and spending time with his family. Clarence was preceded in death by his father, Hoil Baucom. Clarence is survived by his son, Clarence Lee Baucom, Jr. and his wife, Teresa, of Okay, Oklahoma; one daughter, April Jackson and her husband, Matthew, of Tampa, Florida: his mother, Mary Baucom of Coweta, Oklahoma; his brother, Lawrence Baucom and his wife, Bonnie, of Porter, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Nicholous, Victoria, and Hunter; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Paul Holmes officiating.
